I'm sitting here reading a book on Wordpress and it got me thinking... What software/web design do you guys use when creating or editing your sites?   I have been to alot of the members sites here and they all look very nice.. Easy to navigate..

A lot of sites have integrated website builders. Some aint worth much so are pretty good. I host my store with a separate host in case one goes down I dont loose potential customers.Atleast they can see the store or the website and dont get an error reading. Precision web hosting has a pretty good store that takes coupons, discount pricing and about anything you would want to do. I am still learning new things I can do with it.There is a reason most pay to have someone else do it for them.Its very time consuming and frustrating but you have control over it and dont have to wait for someone else to add something when you need it.

I use Livesite 8.0 for mine, and Like Micro said, it's very time consuming, but the control is the great part.  I use HostGator for my hosting service and Livesite (along with a ton of other CMS software, forum software, etc.) is free.

Decided to just use MS Frontpage on mine. Don't want to spend lots of time and wanted a simple, easy way for folks to get around and then order.

Mine lacks a lot of functions however I get comments all the time from customers on how easy it is to get around and to place orders. All the flash and other web components that are on some site render them VERY unfriendly when viewed on the mobile platform as well.

Bottom line to me was.. Inexpensive, gets the job done AND very little time on my side. Rather be creating or out fishing myself than trying to figure out a website. Still have urges to change and upgrade and get made fun of lots for using old software and technology. Oh well..... If it ain't broke....

Not sure what member it was that provide the Wix link but that is a nice solution with a lot of functionality and extremely simple. I built a full site in 30 minutes, just didn't add on the shopping cart. Interesting... www.wix.com
