Stirring the Pot
« on: 08/15/12 23:01 UTC »
New to making baits and found something that has helped me when using the presto pots, Its the Robo Stir. I seen it on TV one night on one of the "As seen on TV" ads, I bought one from my local dollar store for 5 bucks and it works great. I have tried to put a pic up but still too new to know what i'm doing..

If you aren't careful and the heat gets over 350 those little feet will come off that thing . Also I suggest you adapt it to a charger so you can run it off house hold current . It will take a lot of batteries using it very much . Another thing I found is the heating surface and pot must be level and have a flat smooth bottom or it will bounce around and fall over . I did an experiment quite a while back on that .

There was a big discussion on those in the past on another forum. Bottom line... Don't WASTE your money. They don't work in plastic. It is just to viscous.

Thanks for the heads-up.     I was worried about the feet and it turning over but it passed the test the few pots so thought id share, batt. did go downhill fast.   Will keep working on my rotisserie machine.  Thanks again guys...
