Darn! I was going to add that Jason Made u another lami plate but milled out 2 mm...but given the hint..DI'd you use a hot knife to melt off a thin area a reshot using the lami plate?

Please don't tell me you just spread on a thin layer w a butter knife... because there is NO way I have the hand eye coordination to do that!!

This is going to keep me up all night thinking about it!

Hahahaha a butter knife!

No, no butter knife/peanut butter and plastic sandwiches.

Although I have been debating trying to "paint" on colorant with a needle point model brush then just dipping over it with clear to see what happens.

PS:

The only things used:

Microwave (700 watt)
CCM 5" Wutz-it mold
CCM 5" Wutz-it Lami plate
2 x medium CCM injectors
1 BT small blending block
2 Pyrex cups (16oz)
Colorant(s)
Glitter(s)
And yes, a butter knife (to stir with)
Worm oil (to keep the baits off the lami plate after being shot)
Presto Griddle

That's it, now work your magic!

Open mold; pour the belly, pour the top, let cool; close mold, inject center.  I did that on some 4" toads and it gave me the same effect.

Good try but nope, the vein would be too thick and would look similar to this:

Not a great photo but it gets the job done.

Andy, before he gives your number to his wife you may want to contact Denny regarding a small retainer.

Did you restrict the flow of plastic on one side of your twinjector? Which would mean you pour the belly then twinject the two other colors but green had restricted flow.

All 3 colors were injected, no pouring involved in this one.

I called him. And he won't tell me.  Maybe 412 can get it out if him.

Do you twinject with the lami plate?

He does twinject with the lame plate. I've figured that much out by seeing the bottom is a full bottom of a lam but I can't figure out what simple thing limits the plastic on one side of his blending block. I did however discover a possible way to do what he did but it's not what he actually did. I'm sure he will test my idea soon so I'm curious if that will work.

well if you use the lami plate to shoot the back using the twin injector it should give it a fine line like that too, or that is my theory on it. Have been racking my brain all day and thats my best solution lol

The most recent pic was a normal twinject with the lam plate bigger bottom line but that vein/thin line on the first one is the question.

My initial thought was varied pressure since he's not using an actual twinject bt model but two loose injectors from ccm and a block and kind of got a not quite response lol. Then thought of another way that might actually work but hasn't been tried. Using a large ccm injector on one side of the block and a medium on the other with the same stroke because the bigger plunger on the large will push more plastic. Curious to see this tried.
