Here's a recipe that Dobyn'striton posted a while back.

3/4 - 1 cup i use 45 drops of CCM Chart & i add 1 Drop of CCM blue to get it how it is in the pic , 2drops if i want it a little greener.

You can see the color if you go into the recipe section and scroll down a ways to the thread he started titled "I played with some chartreuse today". Its a nice green chartreuse.

That would be the standard [not X2 colorant]yellow chartreuse, 15 drops to 1/4 to 1/3 cup of plastic. The trick will be splitting the 1 drop of blue [not the X2]. Maybe use a toothpick to pick up enough to stir in until the color you want is obtained. Or you could make the 3/4 or the cup whichever. I have both the yellow chartreuse in the original formula and the X2. If I were going to whip up this color, I'd do it using the yellow chartreuse in the X2 to save on product use, but drag the original blue into the mix after the chartreuse is cooked and I'd do a larger batch, like 1 cup. Larger batches of plastic are easier to adjust colors in...way, way more forgiving than small batches. If you want to cut back on the size of the batch just do very small additions of the blue and if thingss get skewed a little, just add some raw plastic and re-cook to dilute things.

The green in this recipe is one that I have written down as a "do" but I'll add a little green hi lite to it. I can see a mess of Nanos done with a bluegill belly and this green as a top and tail color. Red eyes will finish it. I have some other molds that will get pumped using it too in split color shots.

I'll pass on the glitter though since I am shooting smaller molds/baits.

all I have is the X2...so i will have to experiment with yellow chart and blue ( not flo blue, right??)
thanks for the info...the green chart w/silver glitter and chart w/red glitter are really good traditional saltwater colors (and chart w/cooper, with gold,w/black et al.  the straight yellow chart just doesn't sell or catch fish like the green!!

Thanks guys.  Going to try and nail this today, starting with chart yellow, reg green, both in X2.  I usually pour in large, 8 cup Pyrex...but might test in smaller quanities.

for 8oz ,ive only pulled off the green chart in 1 cup batches. If & when i do use my 2 cup pyrex i do all my cooking out of a 1 cup pyrex & keep my big cup on a heated griddle to keep it warm so it wont cool as fast while my next 8oz would be cooking

yep, sowing and reaping...even at 64 ozs and 4 or 5 pours, it's reallynotthat many baits. I am getting a couple big injection molds made. which should give us the production we need in short term...and I can pour CC's molds (have a lot of them) for special colors, orders et al.   You have to be careful w/64 oz Pyrex!!!!!!! :-\ :'( >:( :o

Man, is there anything quite like the smell of fresh plastisol in the morning???...and all thru the nite!!! :-\ :'( :o

OK...that's just disgusting and flat out wrong.  Worm oil leaves a bitter aftertaste.  Toad Xplode is much better, especially if drizzled over under cooked liver.
Until next time.
