Didn't exactly light them up today but my buddy and I caught 12 keepers. Nice 60* day with 48* surface temps. I have been having a hard time getting the suspended schoolers to bite, but they came up shallow today. My buddy used a 3/16 jig with a rage craw trailer and I used an LC Pointer 100 and my old reliable 5.25" stick with the HD additive rigged wacky with an o-ring. Fish were skinny but all keepers with this 3 1/2 pounder being best. 3-5' of water near steep drop offs to deep water were the ticket. Beautiful day to be out in December.
My buddy did great a couple weeks ago on a nearby small electric lake that I know has some hogs in it. Here he is with three nice ones. I have been trying but dont do much there
. But then again he is a Pro fisherman.
