Hey Jerry...welcome to the forum.  it'll be nice to have another fly guy in the mix.  I think we're pretty few and far between.  Who knows, maybe we could add a little more class to this motley crew.
Hey......May you catch a mountain of catfish for that remark. ;D LOL.

Be careful of Denny. Anyone who makes toilet paper a priority for ice fishing has questionable tact at best.

Glad you posted the picture.  Always helps to have a reference of folks you deal with.
Jason - you have lost a bit of weight.  Alex is about as tall as the old man.  Be careful driving on that snow and ice.

Welcome Jerry. I just recently started making my own football jigs. I couldn't believe how much less the cost is compared to store bought. It was easier to learn jigs than pouring worms, but i love both now! Thanks again for the great products, now it's only gonna get better!

Welcome to everyone who is new! I for sure have to learn how to pour lead now, better bite the bullet on that one and do it now. I can't wait to see all the new additions and products!

Haha...  That'll make 'bout anybody laugh right there... but it sure doesn't hurt to be prepared either I would  suppose.  ;)

Thanks for the welcome everyone and if you want to hash out any details on some Do-It Molds you're interested in you can always reach me by phone during office hours at Do-It  319-984-6055

kipbass = Not only are you saving money by making your own jigs but you can make 'em exactly like you want to.  The color combinations alone are endless.

Hey Jerry I am new here too, I have been here for about 8 months and have gained so much knowledge from the guys here,  from Ghost to 412 to Monte to Jason to CCM Jr to  DobynsTriton to pjmcla, florida, denny, ctom, andrew,Kip,Super Harmonics, BareNuckles and so on, I hate to mention peoples names because I will always leave someone out and there are so many more. I like it here because it is a family oriented type of fourm without all bullcorn.  Welcome aboard Jerry and and the rest of the crew at Do-It. I wish Do-It and CCM the best in 2013...

Tim

Thanks Tim,

I and the rest of the Do-It family are really looking forward to 2013 and the future of CCM as well.  Here's wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! (and that's no bullcorn).

Welcome Jerry!  I haven't been here real long either.  Not only is everyone here helpful, but they make AWESOME plastics which will make you want more molds, colorants, glitters, etc.  It's a real problem.  Now with the addition of the lead molding forums, it'll be even worse!  I've been wanting to do lead for a long time (longer than plastics).  I'll have to get to it soon.

With lead bans throughout the country looming (which I don't neccessarily see as a bad thing, just something for us to adapt to) has anyone here used bismuth/tin alloys or other alternatives?  Impressions, problems, benefits, etc?  Good sources?

Hello everyone.  Thank you, Jason, for the kind introduction.  My name is Kyle Steinfeldt and I am the Product/Sales Manager for Clear Creek a division of Do-It Corporation, and I work in conjunction with Do-It out of our home office in Denver, Ia.   For those of you that aren’t familiar with Clear Creek we are the largest manufacturer of custom fly rod cases in the world.  In addition we have an entire line of gear bags for all fisherman and rod cases for spinning rod/reels as well.  I invite you all of you fly heads to check out our lineup at www.clearcreek.net

With that being said, it has been a pleasure having Jason and Diane up this past week.  I enjoyed the opportunity to take Jason out on his first hard-water fishing adventure chasing bluegills.  I'll see if we can’t get some photos posted at some point this week.  The temps weren’t ideal for a guy from Texas but Jason was a great sport and managed to land a few central Iowa bull gills on Caney Creek Nanos.  Crappies and bluegills love them!

When I’m not Ice fishing, and if I’m not at work, you can find me all over the Midwest chasing trophy walleyes with Do-It homemade tackle.  I’m also a sucker for farm pond fishing bluegills, crappies, and bass on a fly rod.  I look forward to the future of Caney Creek and having the opportunity to work with all of you.  -Kyle

Right On Kyle... Welcome aboard.

Kyle's a little gun shy when it comes to the forum introductions folks.  Treat him with "kid gloves".    ;)
