re-melts re-visited
« on: 01/04/13 11:40 UTC »
I played a while this morning and blended a few colors to end up with this top color. Pics don't do justice here.

The top is a blend of a baby bass green, a small chunk of an amber-cracker and a couple small pieces of black all cooked into an ounce and a half of new plastic with stabilizer add. I like this blend on the frys shown here as I try to stick with more natural colors. These two are work-horse baits along with a couple others I shoot and in this particular color will help fill yet another color void in the box.

Anything with a green hue to it I like those red eyes...makes the baits look MAD. In the hand these two baits look like they just fell out of the net in a bait shop.

I'll add here....these are hand pours to the belly half of the baits. And the clear coat is made using the uv enhancer.

Those are wicked baits.  Our water here is lower visibility so they would be somewhat wasted, but boy do they look like minnows/ fry.
