Can we start some kind of standardization of Recipes?

I have been looking at recipes all day today.

Looking to see how much of what dye & glitter I will need to make the colors I am looking for.

The plastic quantity could be in 2 oz or 4 oz, good sample size, for test colors, not to waist too much.

Noticed that for the most part the limit of glitter is 1/2 teaspoon of glitter (to 4 oz., some go higher, what should be the defined limit to the lure does not loose its strength?

Also noticed that there is a general limit of 30 drops of dye.

For my glitter I just went on eBay and picked up 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 (all tsp) and one other size of measuring spoon.

Search was pinch measuring spoons as the fraction does not come up for a measuring spoon.

Just got the set of 5 for $6.84 with shipping, sure this will save a lot more than that in the future (my last mistake cost more than that).

Very good idea to standardize if there will be a sticky for the cookbook. I use glitter measurements in smidgen, pinch and dash spoons. There is a conversion for this.

Are you asking me to do something?  Do I need to create a cookbook and sticky it?

No there already is the color recipes area. I think what Mark was saying is if you post a new recipe, can we all agree to try to use standardized amounts, like 4oz of plastic or teaspoons, tablespoons etc.

Guess this really would be something that each person would have to remember to do.

I convert all my recipes to 4oz amounts and my glitter amounts to smidgen, pinch and dash. That way, I have a recipe book that is standard.
