dragon tail vs skinny carrot size

I was wondering what the  thickness difference is between the 6 inch skinny carrot vs the 6 inch  dragon tail is? Do y'all think they would work double duty as a sinko style bait?

In my opinion the dragon tail wouldn't be a good sinko type bait because of the tail. To me it's perfect for a shacky head. But you could take the dragon tail and just simply cut off the tail to have a carrot. Then you could make all three baits with one mold.

I fished the Dragon Tail wacky last fall and it worked fine. You may want to move your hook slightly towards the tail so it sinks evenly. I agree with Lamar on being able to trim the tail off for a nice small carrot.

I'm looking forward to trying it this spring as a jerk bait and seeing how that 2nd color tail looks! I really like to fish my 3 and 4" carrots as jerk baits.

By the way...I did really well with this bait on the drop shot for crappie (before the water got hard) by cutting the bait back to 2". I did best on a chartreuse tail on a June Bug body. If you really were fussy...you could put some eyes on it and dip the head.

I never did get a chance to fish it shaky...but it sure looks like it would be perfect for that.
