I fished with a friend that has one on Lake Erie once. We went to a hump that I had caught fish at 10:30 a couple of mornings before. Get got there at 9 and it took around an hour to catch a fish. I thought it was a typical small mouth bite. You have to catch one to fire up the school and then catch three or four more till the school swims on. Then you fish till the next school pulls up. Did the HydroWave help ? Who knows. I personally think there's so much bait in the water that making a bait sound is normal to the bass. They're not going to feed until the wind, the sun, the temp.,the current or something they're waiting for triggers it. The best example I can give on this is fishing dam controlled lakes and rivers. When they start pulling water those fish turn on like you flipped a switch.
