Pro pink....
« on: 03/06/13 11:44 UTC »
I did a gag color for a guy on another site and called it pro pink. The guy gets a lot of "pink" commentary tossed his way.

You'll also see a couple of pink over pearl that I called pink shad.

Tom I need to steal that from you.. I have a buddy that is color blind so he doesnt see pinks and reds, and he hates pink baits..  This would be a great gag.

Ctom I also played around with a little pink today, I know u did these as a gift but I think u did a great job...so many variations of that color from the light pink to the bubblegum to the flour.. pink..  I worked on some today and all I can say is dont underestimate the power of pink!!!

Personally I don't hang much pink on my jigs untless the people I am fishing with are doing well using the color. Even then I do better using split colors using pink...white/pink tail, pink/white tail, chartreuse/ pink tail, pink/chartreuse tail, purple, pink tail, just to mention those I carry. A sleeper color I do see catch a lot of fish is hot transparent orange/hot transparent pink tail. The last color is one that does real well arounf this area in the dead of summer when its real hot and the fish have gone deep on a local lake. Plain head with a bait this color fished about four feet off the bottom in 28-36 feet of water. Deadly.
