Hellgrammite jig mold
« on: 09/05/13 15:15 UTC »
If DO-It doesn't already make one, I'd love to see a mold I'm the shape of a hellgrammite head. Say about 1/8 oz or so.  That could take about a size 2 570 jig hook. I've been thinking about tying to make one but it'd be much easier if you guys did it Jerry :D.

Thanks I looked at it.  That could work I guess. But the one that comes closest to what I need is the smaller sparkie jig. Something like that with a flat head and no collar would be better.

Something similar to the small poison tail without a collar?

Do you guys remember the Gapen Ugly Bug? It had a rectriangler flat shape. I've always thought that something like that (maybe a little wider) would be a great mold.Something that always puts the hook right side up, (not on it's side) would be great for plastic crawfish.
