All good ideas Justin and Ctom.
I thought about rigging a fluke style bait on this. It should look like its feeding off the bottom, unaware of the opportunistic  bass.

Thanks Tom.

I've seen molds bored with blind holes on the outside and fitted with real powerful round magnets, but I'm not brave enough to do an attempt at a blind hole even with the drill press. I'd sneeze, cough or fart or something and end up with a complete hole. I can tell you though that the molds I have seen altered in this fashion are something to work with.

I'm geeked out over the sink test! He's ready to snip Mr. Bass right on his nose if he gets too close!

Unfortunately, the jerk bait rigged on it didn't work, it laid flat on the bottom.

If you use that jig with a jerkbait and then work it just as it is recommended by Tommy Biffle, I bet it would be killer and I didn't even think of that until reading this, thanks!!! If you are unaware of how Biffle was using the swing jig you can check out the video on you tube or tackle warehouse, I liked it so much I bought a rod just for that, a 6'10" Heavy power fast action rod and you simply reel, not using the rod to pull but only the reel, that is the reason for the heavy power rod, it doesn't load up much so the jig will deflect instead of stopping while the rod tip loads up. Anyway, you do that with a soft plastic jerkbait or a swim bait behind that swing jig and look out, I love post like this as the ideas just keep coming!!!!!!

I'm wondering about fishing it with a skirted chub grub?

In my mind that's the beauty of the whole design... you can fish darn near any soft plastic that you might see fit.  It's about as versatile a presentation that's come down the pipe in quite a while.  (my two cents).

I put I swim bait on this jig this weekend. And really like the way it looked.   With the swivel it really seemed to wiggle back and forth.
Very very happy with this mold.
