I shot up a bunch of these guys this morning as a fore-thought to tomorrow's fishing.

Everything seen here is a Do-It entity of one sort or another.
I'm headed back to the Mississippi River and my pet docks again in the morning with a friend. A quick check on water temps a while ago showed that the water is two degrees cooler than Tuesday's trip. With dropping water temps we may have to start looking at down-sizing some from what I have been using with good success and the Nano is a nice "in between" size of bait and the colors shown have been rock solid producers along with a few of the glows during the low-light period early on when we get started. The glows I had on hand but these colors had to be shot and today was the day.
These will get hung on a 1/48 Minnow head sporting a #8 sickle hook.
I'll edit this tid-bit of info in this post since it lands smack in cold water territory.
I use only soft plastic for everything I shoot. When I am doing baits that are going to see nothing but cold water, I juice up the raw plastic with stabilizer AND I add about 30 drops of softener to a 4 ounce batch. I do not notice any weakening in the finished product and if anything I think the cold water makes this blend even stretchier than just straight plastic. I've caught 10" sunfish that have latched down on the tail of a 1.75 small fry and missed the hook entirely but would not give up the grip it had on the tail. The tail piece has never broke off but has stretched to unreal lengths with the weight of the fish on it. It almost seems as though the cold water on this extra soft plastic makes it more resilient. Strange but true.
