Carrot Tail molds?

I've seen some older threads talking about carrot tail molds.  I don't see them listed in the store though.  The threads that did have links come up with no products.

Are the carrots interchangeable?  I think the 1.75 works as a tail for the 2.5?  Is that true and how do the tails work for the other sizes?

Yes sir the 1.75 makes the tail for the 2.5. Its an awesome bait! Super easy to shoot. I really like it. It will pump out some plastic. The 2.5 size is my favorite but I like bigger baits

Thanks for the info.  I have the 2.5" and 4".  I am going to have to find me a 1.75

I bought a 20 cavity carrot tail mold that works for both 3.5 and 4 inch carrots.  I can't recall who I got it from, but he said he got it off EBAY.   first cast with a blue fleck #2 with a red tail 4" carrot and Krakatoa...nice little spot.  I'd buy other sizes if they were available.

Jason was selling them at one point, but I am not sure if the design changed or?  The one thread was from 2012.  It's easier than shooting cutting, reloading and remelting the scraps.

I am assuming your mold is a CCM pro version?

Myself I just cut mine and replace back in the mold and shoot them again

The 2.25 inch carrot is a tail mold for the 3.0 Regular carrot as well.   As mentioned above; many folks just inject the mold in a tail color; cut the baits at a length that "looks right";  put the tails in the mold; and inject the head color.
