That will catch anything that swims! Walleye, smallmouth, largemouth, and those pesky northerns. Great work, that's super. Only trouble is; that's the only bait I would ever throw.

Have you tried it out yet. Was just wondering because of the head being flat and the tie being on the end it looks like it could stay flipped upside down. That would cause a bad hook set and more snags. I think the tie up or in the middle would prevent that and keep the bait upright.

I can see Lamar's point. Might just have to bend the line tie up.

LAMAR/MUSKY I have gave it a test run and it dose not flip over because of the way the hook and bait is.The radius on the top and the weight makes it run straight even at a fast retrieve and it dose not rise up like most other rigs.  The only thing that my be a problem is it may hang  than I might put the radius side down and that may make the bait rise a little more because of the radius.  I have made some both ways. This still in the test stage and I'm sure there will be changes made if there is a problem. It took a year to get the blade bait I made the way I wanted it. I don't think that will be the case with this. I'm sending Drew some so he can play with it and he has  water instead of ice were I'm at. Mike
