I have the same question as to table quality on those rascals.  Has anyone cleaned and cooked one.  I understand they are full of big bones; but several you tube videos say the meat is very good.

We all eat carp. We have it artificially bred for sale. A good business.
When I do cook carp photos.

This is an interesting fish for sport. But need a special bait.

As Justin said " Very Interesting".   There was a lot of thought put into the development of that bait rig.

Nice fish Igor!!!  Reminds me of a "Silver story":

I had just landed a big sheepshead (Freshwater Drum) this fall on the Mississippi River - and had an angler pull up all excited and asked if he could "have" the fish. When I lifted it up - he saw it was a Drum and said "no thanks - I thought it was a silver!"

We got to talking and he explained how he and his wife make "fish patties" out of them and that they were delicious.

Next time I catch one - I'll have to try it out!
Take somebody fishing soon!
