Happy Thanksgiving everyone

From Carole and I here in the lower artic, here are our hopes and prayers are that you all have a super Happy Thanksgiving Day and stay safe in all of your holiday weekend endeavors.

We have a split holiday planned beginning with a dinner at her sister's about an hour and a half west of here. Then she will abscond with her daughter and husband to their home in the Twin Cities for the usual spending spree on Friday and Saturday while I return home alone. On Sunday I will head north to retrieve whatever is left of her and the bank account. On our way home we'll make a wide swing to the east and to Afton, MN where my oldest daughter and her hubby and four children live so we can drop off birthday presents for the daughter and oldest of the children, a grandson. Monday will find us back at the grind at our antique shop.

Everyone have a happy Thanksgiving.  We avoid the shopping insanity and just watch football, maybe a DVD, and eat way too much.  Last Years Main Attraction.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  I wish each of you peace and a feeling of loving closeness as you gather with your family and friends.

Between in-laws and out-laws, we have 14 people and 4 dogs coming to our home tomorrow.  Dinner at 1:00, burp and nap until 3:00, board games, etc until 6:00 or 7:00, bed by 9:00 so we can get some sleep.  Black Friday means TPO shopping all day with our oldest daughter.  It's also my day to spend the day on Clear Lake minnow fishing for big largemouths,  My goal this year is to not get bit by a big catfish.

Travel mercies to all of you out East.

Everyone have safe travels!

My kids, spouses and grandson came down last weekend for Thanksgiving so for my real Thanksgiving day I'll be ice fishing! Ice isn't thick enough to stand on (at least for me!) but I can sit on the dock, drill a hole with the hand auger and catch some bluegills and crappies (yes...kind of desperate but you gotta do what you gotta do!).

Maybe not as desperate as imaginative. I've done the same thing on may occasions and just might on Saturday.

Happy Thanksgiving Guys!

Turkey for lunch with the family tomorrow and crappie fishing Friday. Lots to be thankful for! God has surely blessed me this year.
