Yes. My definition of hugging is - Assuring that the injector is solidly attached to the sprue opening and apply a light, but solid, downward pressure on the plunger after the initial mold injection. You can actually feel the mold take in more plastic for a bit. You do not ever want to have enough pressure at any time during a injecting cycle where plastic will squirt from the injector or the injector / mold juncture. As MO Quack might say " Be one with the Injector ".
Has anyone talked to you about purging ; or burping; your injector before injecting a mold?
This is important with this mold as well to avoid air bubbles in the baits.
P.S. - Don't hug Mo-Quack either.
