Natural NightCrawler

Well I was playing with some color...and I wanted to try and get a nice natural nightcrawler recipe.

The actual recipe I have in my notes at home I'll post it later per a 4 oz batch
but it's basically
Pumpkinseed and White all X2 colors..with a match heads worth of violet Hi's
Small and large Black Flake

Those are pretty cool looking. Never would've thought to use violet hilite but it works. Good job

 Thanks for sharing, my buddy has been asking me to make some natural color worms, this color is almost exactly what he was looking for.

Finally got around to posting my exact recipe all x2

4 oz plastic
Pumpkinseed 7 drops
White 4 drops
Violet hi - match head worth
1/8 tsp black flake .40
1/8 tsp black flake .15

If you like that color you can buy in the 2X earthworm. For some reason you need to keep it shook up more than the others.

As Lamar states about the keeping it shook up you'll also find that the earthworm color tends to be a weak one and takes a lot of colorant to make a good color in the plastic. Your color here is very natural looking and I'll bet is easier to make than using a commercial colorant. I haven't checked but maybe Do-It has a X2 earthworm which has more substance to it.

Yes that is what I was talking about. I use it all the time and works well. You just need to shake it a lot.
