Something a little brighter
« on: 05/20/14 20:27 UTC »
After the news of Mo this morning I thought I'd throw this up to help lighten the mood.

I entered this pic in a local contest at our local tv station's weather department. Its a wild flower we call Johnny-Jump-Up s. They show up in our garden fringes every spring and this one had some nice, nice color so I got a snap of it.

Mo, I know you are hurting and you will be for a while. Your wife is hurting too. And Mo since you have all of us good looking nice guys to help cheer you up and on, I offer this little flower as token to your wife from all of us guys to let her know that we are thinking of her as well.

Good pic tom!  Things are finally starting to grow.  Trilliums are just starting to bloom in the woodlands here.  Violets are in full bloom too.
For those of you with Facebook and inclined to look at plants:

Of all the caring and thoughtful things that I've witnessed happening here in these pages since I've been around THAT ranks as high as any.  That is a very nice picture Tom.  I think I see a few of your favorite colors in there.   ;)

"I think I see a few of your favorite colors in there"...per Jerry

I never thought of the color aspect when I took the picture, but looking at it now, yup, they're in there.

Something I learned on my path thru life is that injury or illness seldom afflicts only the afflicted. Those close to the person hurt as much as the person with the physical pain. This burn stuff is serious and Crystal, Mo's much better half [lol], is going to need some light spots in her life as well. This site's masses have been referred to as a family, so from one family to another I just wanted Crystal to know that there is light and that there is support here.
