skired chub grub

i am thinking about buying this mold some one gave me a bait . my question is how do they measureth size of the bait this one measures about 3 inches long from the top of the body to the tails at rest is this hw thy measure 3 or 4 inch bait

One of my favorite baits. Drag it between rocks or hop it over them.  Spots love em'.  Hula grub with arms and an attitude to match.

i have always loved fishing them but like everyone fell out of favor for something else :( so i thought i would take a look into making them .
