Yes, there will be a bunch of new stuff released for 2015.

But none of it will be available until the new Catalog goes to print in October or November so we'll have the next 2 to 4 months to show you what's up and coming.

Hey everybody.  We are down at ICAST and are having a great reception to our new Essential Series Molds.  Jerry had posted a link late last week highlighting the new Essential Series Molds and I thought I'd post a link below for any of those that missed or hadn't had the chance to check it out.

http://custombaits.com/index.php?topic=5989.0

We are also introducing retail packaged plastisol colorant and glitter.

Just a quick note on a few of the new lead molds that will be available in October:

A larger Swing Jig in 1/2 5/8 3/4 1 & 1 1/4oz.

A larger Teardrop  in 5/8 3/4 1 1 1/4 1 & 1 1/2oz.

2 New Round Head Combination Molds with wire keeper

     4 cavities of 1/32 4 cavities of 1/24th
     4 cavities of 1/16 4 cavities of 3/32nd

"The BAT Jig"  - A new short shank brush pile jig for pulling big crappies out of the wood. Photos to follow

As Jerry eluded to most of the Essential Series will be out around the same time in October.

Answer it!

Still hoping for a production 1/16th walleye head with the recessed eye slots and no collar, oval eye slots to allow for many different jig hooks and no warming chamber on the bottom.  PLEASE!!!!

What do you mean by "retail plastisol  color and glitter" Is that some new products or are you going to let other business sell X2  colorant and glitter?

"What do you mean by "retail plastisol  color and glitter"...per Gary

1 ounce bottles of colorant that are one a card so they can be hung on pegs in retail stores. Glitter I believe will be done the same.

Now we're talking some serious crappie heads. I can't wait to see that short shank puppy.

What degree bend hook is the Bat jig going to take??  Hopefully it's not a specialized hook only made for that mold.  Are those the only 4 lead molds coming out??

The Bat Jig will fit a Do-It Wacky #6 35 degree bend Jig Hook item# 6216  The small distance between the hook point and eye of the hook made this the best candidate for the idea behind the mold which was to produce a brush pile jig that wouldn't snag up in the brush and could still put a hook right through the roof of the mouth of a crappie or any other panfish for that matter.  We've been testing this one since last fall and the Wacky hook out performed any of the other hooks we tried bar none.

Any chance you could get that hook in a size #4 for those big southern crappie and would a #4 work in the mold?
