Another use for the wacky jig
« on: 07/18/14 13:36 UTC »
Here is what I make with a wacky jig, I tied a small keeper on the shank and then make a few more wraps and then brush on some LOCTITE super glue to lock everything in place. After that I tie in a chenille ball just below the head to help flair out the silicone that I tie in and once the silicone is tied I thread on a 2.5" piece of a small cut tail worm made from a 4" curly tail worm. These are good for clear water and while it has a weed guard, it is best suited for areas that are open like boat docks or bare banks with just sparse grass.
