Sweet Drew.

The market today has some eyes that are very, very realistic. Coupled with your artistic talents to make a bait look like it could flop at any moment and Mike's gill flare comment really holds true. Great looking baits bud!

I like them, those finishes are so good that it would take a good eye to work that it wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. I actually like them, but the most realistic eyes I ever used were the ones from BOSS, I think they are vision 3D or something like that.

For me the question on eyes is the price. I don't believe it makes much difference to the fish.

For me the question on eyes is the price. I don't believe it makes much difference to the fish.

I'm in this school too, but I do put eyes on those that I take pictures of for the internet. Personal baits are without eyes for the most part. Frogs would be the exception.

The larger eyes I use on frogs come from Do-It's catalog. I have a pile of various sizes and colors from Bogg's Baits and those are all I use other then the Do-It products.

On the hard baits eyes are important and are as much a part of the bait as the paint.

The eyes retail and average of $0.17/eye. Not a good price for plastics, unless you can crank up the sale price. They would be sweet on some of the larger hand poured multi-color swimbaits.

These are the eyes from Lifefly-outdoors http://stores.ebay.com/Lifefly-Outdoors

We had a group buy on Jigcraft and I got 7500 for $25 (.03 per eye), plus more for the Krystal flash but the store on the e isn't bad for the quantity - others have sent him color combo's they want and he's come up with them.

Very nice Drew.  I had a ten minute stare down with that crank...  it won.  :(
