Looking for display options...
« on: 08/11/14 15:33 UTC »
Hey all,
I'm looking for input on options for displaying custom tied jigs for sale in my retail store.  I've debated on just putting them in bulk bins like some fly shops do with flies but I don't really like the idea of someone getting a hook in their hand.

Then, I debated on the bag and tag method, bag in individual bags and tag them onto a strip of cardboard like road runners and marabou jigs come on.

But, the only cards I can find is from Janns and they only have them with a bass or walleye picture on them.  I need crappie, bluegill, or white bass on my cards.

Any suggestions?  I'd thought about buying poster board and labels and may have to go that route but I really want something a little less labor intensive if I can find something.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Thanks!
God Bless!

Hanging them in clear plastic bags with a self adhesive pre-printed label near the top would be an option.  Punching the "peg hole" above the zipper. I believe Do-It sells the little zip lock bags.  Strip cards are messy and somewhat of a pain. And bulk also creates a few issues as well.
Take somebody fishing soon!

Tommy, I have always done my jigs with just a hole punched in a bag but am looking for something a little more professional looking like the road runners or plow jockeys and such come on.

But, I'll probably just wind up doing it the old way with small zip lock baggies and labels.

Oh wait.......I'm a big dummy!  I used to print business card stock out, fold them over, and use that to hang them on.  ???  Man it sucks getting to where I can't remember things I used to do when I sold things years ago!  :o

Problem solved.  Thanks!
God Bless!
