4.5" Ring-It.....still playing

I've been putting a few more colors in bags for the walleye bucket and these are the latest. All of these have a chartreuse that's a bit greener than the traditional chartreuse, something I have found to be even more productive than a regular chartreuse, especially when laid in alongside another color.

On the right the chartreuse baits are really a split color but the outdoor lighting really makes it tough to separate by eye. The bait on the far right shows the separation a little. I make the greener chartreuse by adding X2 green fluorescent chartreuse to the regular X2 chartreuse at a ratio of about two of the regular drops to 1 of the green. In the water we have in this part of the state, the greener color just seems to draw more of the fish's attention.

The blue is a really stand-out blue too. All X2 colors, I make the regular blue, 8 drops to 4ounces, then add add a three drops of fluorescent blue and a single drop of midnight blue. If it comes out too dark, I let it cool and then add more raw plastic to thin it to where I want it. Blue hi lite, uv enhancer and Canada blue .015 glitter round the color out. The color you see is a re-melt.

The purple is five drops of X2 purple, 2 drops of Florida grape and a drop of MF indigo in 4 ounces. The Florida grape is a deep purple and really pulls purple into another dimension. The Indigo is equally as deep only blue and it too sucks this into places a regular purple won't go. This color has uv enhancement and purple hi lite along with the .015 purple glitter.

The blue and purple colors here are both very transparent if they are viewed at the right angle. They stand up to the chartreuse real well here too. If you feel adventuresome, try a batch of these two colors against chartreuse. While I don't have a sample to show, the blue and purple are unreal when hooked up with the X2 fluorescent hot pink that has some uv enhancer and violet hi lite added to it. The hot pink is a super combo color for the blue and purple anyway but the violet hi lite makes the hot pink just bounce when sitting next to either of the blue or purple.

Nice Tom, really like that purple.  This has become one of my favorite baits to make and to fish.  Love the quick flick of that tail.

I'm just hoping that this fall the weather doesn't get the river back up and rolling along at 35 mph again so I can really put these to the test.
