Bad Batch of Plastic??
« on: 10/12/14 17:10 UTC »
I have been buying my plastic here for a couple years and never had any problems up until today.  I always buy the 2.5 gallon size.  I have wasted 6 cups of plastic today and it seems that the plastic is not quite right or something.  It bubbles a lot more and never really melts...seems to bubble up and get rubbery.  Never had this happen before.  I shake the box every time I use the plastic and roll it end over end just to make sure.  Anyone else notice any problems with theirs?  Will Do-It replace my batch of plastic?  I've been buying their product for over two years without problems, so it's not a newbie error.  Should I call and talk to them?
Thanks

Of course you should call and speak with customer service.  That's the only way we can get to the bottom of a problem and take care of a customer.  Flappin' about it on the forum doesn't get much done.

I will give a call tomorrow.  I just wanted to see if anyone else had an issue recently.

That's cool, we can get it taken care of tomorrow.

It will be helpful if you have the lot number from the back of the box.  That way we can match it up with the samples that were shot when it was packaged.

Thanks,

Jerry

The biggest issue I had was micro bubbles. I switched to another brand and have no issues thus far.
I'd rather be fishin'...
