CS paint pens

Had a guy on another board ask about CS paint pens - he colored some white chenille with it.  From all I've been told about them they are for hard lure components??

While I suppose you could color chenille with one, I agree, they were intended more for hard lures and components.  They are the same VLF paint offered by CS Coatings it's just in a pen form allowing you to be a little more precise.

And not just fishing lures... I've used the paint pens to put added detail on my turkey decoys to make them look far more alive than the factory paint job ever had them.  We'll never know for sure what little details make the sale on those tougher days, but I feel confidence goes a long way on getting your quarry, no matter what it is.

I would use Rit Dye. By the way...here's a link to Rit Dye colors and how to mix to get any color you want.

Wonder how those CS paint pens would work on powder painted jigs for finesse work? Might have to buy a couple and try it.

Smalljaw turned me on to these and he puts marks on jigs and clear coats and cures in his oven.  I use Rit to dye stuff now I was checking as someone on another board used them on his chenille and it messed it up.
