Here's a time eater if you have some that is just wasting away.



Someone mentioned the other day that it might be neat to do a tube with a different color in each filament. There are 18 filaments in the spline used in the 3.5" tube of Do-It design. The spline is used in all of the tube-style baits for that matter. Doing all 18 a separate color is a doable task if you have a ton of time.

I settled for six colors in the filaments, three of each one. The tube color makes seven colors in all. This one bait tied up about 40 minutes. You younger guys with better eyesight can probably cut the time down.

It's sure pretty, but I am not sure of how practical the color scheme is.... it may do well hooking one of Mo's shoes, but fish?

Pretty cool... I made some spinnerbaits like that... 2 strands each of 30 different colors...  :D

Beautiful bait, absolutely gorgeous.  With all the colors done, baits 2 through 6 should go a lot faster.
