Cleaning feathers
« on: 12/20/14 23:09 UTC »
Got my first batch of feathers from a buddy and spent the day cleaning them - out of a packed one gallon bag after cleaning I got all these so far still have more to do.  My wife showed me the veniards dye to make sure it was the right colors so I know I'll be getting it for Xmas!!

Nice pile Fatman. You going to dye some up I bet. Look like some bluebill feathers.

May be some in there - a few of the guys I get them from sort them by duck in zip bags.  This is only the first bag I've gotten so far! I have this one and two others that send them to me.  Also shows just how much they fluff out with a good washing and drying.
