I should just try the football head that this mold makes, but I'm already running through modifications to existing molds that I own to fit this style of jig. It's a great idea - not allowing the hooked fish to swing the hammer and dislodge the jig. I'm curious to see the action of different soft plastics on it, but my experience with football heads in a rocky river has been frustrating to say the least in terms of snags. I wonder if anyone else has taken molds of other jig head styles and dremeled slots for the Swing Hook Wire. I might do it on something less prone to rock snags.
