plastic not becoming clear

 I am using HD sinking additive for the first time and I put in 2 tablespoons to my bears baits plastic and it didn't come out clear?

You will not get a clear or transparent bait if you use the hda, it doesn't matter  when you add the hda .

thanks for the info I also have one more question in your experience when adding HDA does it make the bait softer because mine come out very soft

My experience is that it make a very tough bait. If you are getting really soft baits I would say that your plastic is not completely mixed. I don't see a big change in the action of the bait when used in bass baits.

For me the baits are definitely softer, but also much more durable.

The liquid in the HDA that you stir is indeed softener.

If you want more clear baits, use Glass beads. They will scratch your injector though.

This is same weight and softness as real Senko

I use 80 grit beads.  Got them from a friend who works at a car restoration shop near me.  I know a lot of guys got theirs from Harbor Freight.

just remember.. it will scratch piston and inside of injector.
soooo. maybe keep 1 injector just for glass media?
 it makes the baits soft and durable

  If that will scratch the inside of your injector then what will it do to the bass ? Sometimes they rip the bait off your hook and eat it. Doesn't sound like it would be a good thing for the bass.

Don't matter don't tAke much plastic to stop them up. I have cut some open And found half a trick worm killing them.
