« on: 03/03/15 12:24 UTC »
I was wondering.... I've noticed that some of the do it molds can be found for less money than buying them direct. Has anyone else noticed this? Please before someone flames me I mean no disrespect to do it or this forum and I am VERY greatful for all the help I have gotton here. Thanks Jim

If you are referring to the prices found at retailers, yes they are likely to be less expensive. Do-It makes no bones about it that the retail end of things is their life blood, not sales off their on-line catalog. Retailers order in quantity so they can lower the prices. BUT, you are way more likely to have the new products in your hands thru this site way sooner than you are running to a retailer. There is a trade-off.

Somewhat related to this topic.....does anyone have a list of retailers that carry Do It soft plastic molds and related supplies for the Tampa or even central Florida area. I'm driving down to watch some spring training baseball next week and it occurred to me that buying from a retailer while I'm there will save me shipping, as well as Canadian customs and sales taxes. By the way it's still ice fishing weather up here. -20C this morning. Need to warm these old bones in your southern climate and hopefully save a few bucks on my summer pursuits. Thanks in advance for any tips.
