make sure you mix it really well....every time you use it.

Foaming is an indicator that it is not completely mixed.

Also, what are you using to stir it? Foaming can also be caused by damp cups and using a wooden stir (it holds moisture).

I stir with popsicle sticks and have found that the Crystal Clear formula will foam some when using them as a stir stick while the Essential plastic does not or the foaming is very minimal.  When Crystal Clear gets mixed in the factory package do a thorough shaking of it. I shake my Crystal Clear plastic every week whether I am using it or not. Same with the Essential plastic.

I have tested them all ....and the Crystal clear is one of the best.

Personally, I use the Essential Series the most for bass and walleye baits because it is more elastic, "tougher" , and has really good heat tolerance. I use Crystal clear for small panfish baits and dipping heads (eyes).

I'd bet you've got moisture in your plastic somehow. Is it damp where you store it?

I'm willing to bet that it is a humidity issue.... I used to live in a place that was naturally kind of damp.... I had the same problem, no matter how much I shook the plastic, or what kind of plastic I used... Then I moved to a place that is much less humid and don't have those problems... I would try storing your plastic in the driest place that you can find...

As far as plastic goes , I don't think that you can go wrong with either of the do -it plastics... They are both superior products... I tend to prefer the essential series for my needs because I am finding that the baits are lasting longer than baits made with crystal clear because of the elasticity....
