A friend and I hit up the small lake north of home and we're both just shaking our heads at the action we had. Just flat out unreal. Thumper Frys and 1.5" Thump-Its. If it wasn't purple/chartreuse tail it wouldn't get bit. We got fish deep and cold, we got them as shallow as 4 feet. He wanted some for a fish fry and he went home with a mess, many in the 12"+ range. I got another sumo smallie today. Its unreal how hard they fight.
We got off the water at noon and we now have weather moving into the area so things played out good for us.
