My First Jigs Ever
« on: 07/19/15 16:40 UTC »
Hi everyone,

I posted before about EGW hooks for Swim Jigs. I would like to start off thanking everyone who helped me out, and welcomed me to the forum.

Heres a link to some pictures of my first jigs. We poured 92 Poison Tail Jigs to start, and I've gone through a little over 1/3 of the blank jigs making swim jigs. I might sell them in the future if I get good. I have a pretty decent customer base since I sell flies.

I'm planing on fishing some tournaments with these to test them out the weekend of July 25. I am fishing Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park on Sunday the 26th with the Kayak Anglers of Western PA. Hopefully I can catch some big ones.

Thanks again for all of the help!

Nice. I think remember to keep it simple and basic. I see to many guys try to make all kinds of color that they never use. Experiment a little here and there but making jigs that work is a lot more fun.

Thanks for the advice. I've been trying to match jigs with trailers that I have. I agree, The simple jigs work the best.
