This is a tough question.  For me, it really depends on the fish.  Some days they want a smaller bait, others they want a bigger snack.  I would order a craw sample pack and test them out.

I have (what I think is) a handpoured MD4 that you sent as a sample. Is it quite a bit bigger or just a little. Reason I am asking is I know someone selling a used 4.25 mold Bucky for a decent price.

Similar claw action to the injected MD4 or 3XL?

Hi Bill,

The length is going to be similar, but the MD4 has bigger claws and looks bigger.  If you can get a good price on it I would pick it up as you should be able to resell it for the same amount if you want something smaller.
