Sneak Peak...
« on: 11/22/11 12:26 UTC »
Here's a bait I've been working on and will release soon.  It is a 3.5" - 3.75" Swim Shad.  I'm still testing it, but it looks really promising.

I also made a laminate plate for the 5" Wutz-It this weekend.  It turned out cool and is great for those who don't want to hand pour or are dual injector challenged.  Here is a bait made with it:

Our focus right now is swim style baits and hope to have some awesome baits / molds out around the first of the year.

Don't mistake this for a "Fry" like it's Crappie brethren.  This is the Swim Shad:

I've been fishing it on a 3.0 worm hook with a split shot about 6"-8" up.  It could be fished a lot of different ways, this is just the easiest.

The machine is running - I'm off to do some testing!

Tight lines!

Wicked looking bait. It fits the worm hook very well.  Will there be a version with a fuller ( more rounded front end ) to better fit jig heads; and look more shad like at the same time?

This is a different bait than the Super Stinger (drop shot bait) and takes a jig well (probably depends on the jig head).  Here is a pic with a jig head.  I was out testing it and it works really well on a 1/8 oz. Bass Jig swimming it, also worked well on a small swim bait hook.

I caught a couple on the Swim Shad and Swim Shad / jig.  Here's one caught on a jig and Swim Shad.

I am all over it when this gets released.  I love to throw the swim jig and this makes a really good trailer.  Still versatile to throw without a jig head of course.  I really dig versatile baits and this appears to be one of them. ;D
