I just can't say enough about how awesome the mayfly is. I've caught at least 10 species of fish on it now. Here are a couple gills that inhaled a smoke with purple flake mayfly. I've been rigging them on a 1/64 or 1/32 oz jig head and they are crushing it on the slow drop.

Nice catch,  the mayfly has saved the day for me more than once.  They are great for the kids on the old hook and bobber.
