Mike....Here's a version of your clear with purple/blue flake I did only I added a shot of uv enhancer and some violet hi lite to those on the left side. That uv enhancer makes these things very visible in even murky water. The amber has enhancer in it too. Since the day is right around 34 degrees I grabbed a rod and walked down to the river behind us and flipped both of these in the drink on a 1/64 head and with the sun on them even in the dirty water from run-off they each showed a strong blue/violet "shine" down as deep as I could still see them. A surprise crappie ended up on the jig toting the clear one.

Man I am loving this mold. People around here are eating this bait up since I started to pass a few around. In another thread you mentioned this bait being a "must have" and I couldn't agree with you more. One box with a dozen 1 1/2" X 3" cells in it filled with both sizes of this bait and the ice ticklers in that dozen of colors and a guy could consider himself a deadly weapon.
I have been making a similar bait that measures 1 1/2" but the segments are smaller than those in the larger of these baits for open water and the sunfish and crappies pound them when jigged vertically tight against standing, sunken wood. I'm already starting to replace those with the larger new ones of this mold simply because the segments in the bodies of this new bait are easier one to cut off for a shortened a bait.
The bodies of the smaller baits is almost identical in diameter to the Ice Tickler's body and will fit well on any smaller ice jig. The smaller bait should come embossed with "sunfish" on it.
