6oz does 5 molds perfectly for me. I made 500+ laminates last night and had 2 I rejected. WOW!!!!

So the twinjector does 5 molds if you move along quick. Any stopping and you may get a plugged injectorand miss the last mold.

Jann's will sell you .14 a piece @ 1,000 units.  In my opinion, that's a very good price for the quality and versatility of these baits. (read- right price to charge)  ;)

Shawn:

If you are looking at the 3 1/4" model that are $14 for 100, try them before you buy them for the swim shad. They are to small. 3 1/4" is the outside of the box measurement so the box is slightly smaller than that. With the 3.5" bait, your tails will get bent up. I tried hard to make that size work for my existing small swims and was unpleasantly surprised.

Now if you are getting those 3 5/8" for .14, we need to talk!!!!  :D

I knew my wife was right when she said I am not a multitasker... I meant .24 per... -I fat fingered the keys-

That's what they were last time I ordered some.  I just checked the site and I see the same .26 now too.  Let me check around these next couple days and I'll let you know-

Through Andex they are 0.15 each plus whatever freight ends up. I haven't been able to find anything close to that from a supply place. Andex makes them.

To you swim shad experts.  How many swim shad molds can be injected with a 4 oz. injector?   Or -  how many can be injected with a Basstackle Twinjector?    Thanks.

2 positively 3 if your lucky with the CCM 4 oz injector, not sure with the BT injector.

I used the Calhoun soft for my first few batches and they are sweet! But now I've ordered some Plastisol to try. Anyone have any pointers on this stuff?

I was able to get 3 out of our injector this A.M. Solid color, everything was cold and I had a good size plug left.  3 should be fine.

Please note, I did prep my molds with "onyonlyx ".   ;D

Ok, so I was off on the pricing no doubt!!!! I changed to a shorter box and a case has 400. Essentially, they are 0.22 each plus the freight costs. This is through www.andex.net. I got a slight break ordering 2 cases. This one is stock #3095
What gripes me is that I get the larger boxes (5" long and a little deeper) from www.placon.com and they are only 0.18 each.

Current clam I use is stock #3089. I ordered one an inch shorter this round! Won't make a big deal in packaging but will make a big deal in shipping!

Makes no sense at all the larger are less! Also, if you look at the boxes you order from Jann's, LC etc, you will notice they are coming from Andex or Placon. They just buy them and mark them up to sell in smaller lots.

They look really good in a box. Will definitely bring more displayed that way.

Jim- I'll sell you 25 for $40.00 free shipping.
 ;D ;D

Seriously though, thanks for taking the time to check it out.  I have looked at Plaxall, Great River, Impact-MFG, and so far Andex is the best deal.
Also- I received a request to make a "Cal-A-Bama" rig.  In California, there is a three hook max, so while we're looking at packing for the shads, I need some custom work done to package these  Cal-A_Bama rigs.   These Cal guys crack me up with all the old things being called new and how quick the 'fads' switch!  Yesterday's "new" thing was arm-long swimbaits you have to throw on a broomstick with a tuna rig in order to not break your rod or your arm.  Today's new thing is the A-rig.  Tomorrow the "new" thing will be a bucktail jig.  I called it!
-Shawn

p.s. I mean no offense to the Cal guys out there.  I live about 10 minutes from the Cal border so I get to play both games!

Tread Carefully there SuperHarmonix   ;D  This California Kid loves his big swimbaits because the bass the love them-not the other way around.   ;D

Jim - thanks for sharing the info on the packaging - that is much better than bagging them.

Thanks P.

All I do is lay them out on a piece of card stock like so

Then slide them in the bag like so. I can get up to 10 in one of CCM's 7x4 bags.

Then you put them in a USPS approved mailer bubble pack and mail them to my address.  :D
