Little of everything here: tail color, e-core, color shifting pigments. Lots of work but they are pretty. Hoping the crappies think like-wise tomorrow or Tuesday, or......

The color shift is Delta and goes from blue to purple. Walking thru the garage to outside to get the picture had these guys changing colors like a stop light. lol

So. A friend saw these on my facebook page and asked if I can make them in the 1.5" Thump-It? I said, "well, ya".



Wasn't kidding him. Everything used in the flukes was remelted and used in these. With the sun lower the purple wants to come out and play. This color shifting stuff is a riot to work with. These are going to the lake in the morning too.

Wow those are absolutely amazing.  I might end up getting that Crappie Fluke mold.

The wind bit me this morning so my fishing got cut short. I had one hit...on that Thump-it grub shown here done in the delta color shift. And whatever snapped the line.

Wish I could get the chartreuse to be that bright.

X2 chartreuse, 15 drops to 4 ounces. 2 drops X2 fluorescent green, blue hi lites.

Man ctom every time I use that thump grub I can barely get good pours with it.  I notice it looks like you added in some vents on the mold also. maybe that's what I should try to do? I hate to complain but  I  just can't even give this little bait much of a chance because of it.  I  tried everything possible with it and just quit using it because of it.  Now come to think of it I  think MikeJ done some venting to his if memory serves me correctly.  Hmmm not sure what really to do.

Add the venting as shown if you're having issues. With the technique I use with the Thump-It and some other molds I need them to breathe, hence the additional venting or modified venting. There's not a thing wrong with the molds as they come to you but when a person asks the mold to do more than they were meant to do he'll have to do things that allow his qwirks.
