the viton chemical o-rings (about a buck a piece) is what is is used in the injectors, isn't it ??? (at least CC's injectiors)

Here is a manufacturer of o-rings.  The sell cord stock so you can cut your own length.  The smallest diameter they have in this is 1mm.  Looks like you have to request the info from them as well, so I don't know how pricey they are.

I found silicone ones that are as small .78 mm inside diameter and there 3.50 per hundred. Just don't have micrometer to see if that would hold to the hook. Might have to just order some.

You also can use vacuum line from an auto parts store. Just cut the ends off to make the ring.

Not sure if it comes that small though.

The only thing so far that might work other then the Oring I found was the thin IV like surgical tubing that can be cut into small pieces. I don't know if vacuum lines go that small?

I'm a diabetic and wear an insulin pump. The tubing from the infusion is thin but pretty stiff. Doubt it will stretch over the barb.

IV tube might come in different sizes.
