This post started out about products, was hijacked with my ice fishing adventure (you bet I'm going to start a new thread specifically to show off my trophy ice gill), and is now evolved into fly tying.  So, at your request I have added an additional section dedicated to fly fishing:

Fly Tying: http://www.caneycreekmolds.net/index.php?board=40.0

Fly Fishing / Gear: http://www.caneycreekmolds.net/index.php?board=41.0

Maybe someone could kick each new board off with a nice post of a pic with either some gear or a fish in it that they made / caught.

Thanks for the request - good idea.  Something else for me to get into and get me in even more trouble...

Jason

Hijacked is such a harsh word   :D  --  Evolved; Migrated maybe ?
Anyway; it's Denny's fault.

Yeahhh...  I blame Denny toooo!  :P

If the truth be told I blame Jason... he's the one that called Kyle and me out right here in THIS thread for an introduction... that's how it all got blown into ice fishing and fly tying etc.

what ever, we got a Fly section out of it... Bazinga !!

PS: hijacked IS pretty harsh especially if you're the culprit.   ;)

And Homeland's/CIA's red light probably goes off everytime someone uses the word hijacked on the internet. Ooops said it again! 8)

Hijack is such a harsh term.  I would much rather think of it as coming in through the back door.  Kind of like getting what you want without all the angst and name calling.  I mean, think about it, we now have a page devoted to true fishing...with a fly.  All that without bloodshed.  Not bad.  Tom even thinks I'm a stud muffin.  I'm still thinking that one over.
Until next time.

If I were you Denny... I'd try to forget about what Tom said, but you can do what you want.   ::)

The Fly pages are a real cool bonus!  I'll be posting there real soon.  It's all good...

THANK YOU JASON!! (he said real loud so everyone could hear)

I was going to comment on the word "fault" being a loose generalization with Denny, but I am not sure if I have the retainer paid so I digress.

Jerry and Kyle- welcome.  As collateral benefit, other than the business, you are inheriting some of the finest fisherfolks around.

(don't tell Denny or Andy I said that)

Thank, God, another fly guy.  We're catching up to them, Kyle.  Welcome to the forum.

I have most of my rods built for me by a friend who owns L3Rods in Citrus Heights, CA.  I'm pretty sure he uses your rod and reel cases.  I'll double check when I get home.  If it's your case, it's a really good one and you should be proud to market it.

Denny,  Thanks for the note.  L3Rods is a good customer of ours and we appreciate the support.  We do our best at Clear Creek to make Quality products made in the USA (something hard to find today).
