I find this one of the easiest molds to put the tails back in for me since the tails are straight and you don't have to worry about following any curves. Personally, I wouldn't buy a tail mold as it's easy to shoot up 12 tails at a time and not use a ton of plastic like you do for big baits like swim shads or big worms. Leave the baits intact until you're ready to shoot bodies, no worry about bad welds when they're freshly cut. Unless there's 3 dozen tails in a tail mold or something to get a lot done at a time, you'll still be cutting them off of a sprue and putting them back in a mold.
